It is said that world power is divided into two blocks. One is a democratic advanced nation block that places importance on the opinions of the people. As a result, it takes lots of time to decide on a proposal, and politicians are apt to appeal policies at the election that their supporters would be pleased with their performance.

The other block consists of authoritarian developing nations. Most countries in this block are poor. So most people place priority on the leader who makes them survive, regardless of dictatorial politics, so that decisions for matters are quick and imperative. The number of these nations is more than democratic nations.

Remember the Age of Discovery

Their goal may be to achieve a democratic nation. However, most of these countries had been oppressed and exploited by the advanced countries as colonies since the Age of Discovery. So, they do not trust what the democratic block says. This situation makes the relations more complicated.
